Portland Panty Project
Ashley Garber, co-founder and executive director of Portland Panty Project, will be joining us for our collection event. She is currently a senior at Lewis and Clark College, majoring in Sociology and Anthropology. During her first year at L&C she started volunteering at Operation Nightwatch (one of the local homeless shelters where Portland Panty Project now distributes its goods) and realized along the way that she could help fill an unmet need in the community. Portland Panty Project was founded in 2015 to provide homeless women and other women in need with size-appropriate undergarments and feminine hygiene products through monthly distributions at four area centers.
